N-able is seeking a new Data Governance Analyst to come join us on our exciting journey of growth!


What You'll Do

  • Lead the implementation and ongoing management of our data catalog tool, ensuring effective governance and accessibility of data across enterprise systems.
  • Develop, enforce, and continuously improve data governance standards, policies, and practices aimed at improving data quality, accessibility, security, and regulatory compliance.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to define and implement data governance roles, responsibilities, and processes, driving alignment with the organization’s data governance strategy.
  • Create data quality checks to proactively address data quality issues at the source, ensuring reliable and accurate datasets.
  • Provide training and support to end-users, promoting self-service tools and best practices in data literacy to help make data more accessible and manageable across the organization.
  • Establish and monitor data governance metrics and KPIs to evaluate and continuously improve data accessibility, quality, and compliance.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement, offering actionable insights and recommendations.

What You'll Bring

  • Proven experience implementing enterprise-wide data governance programs and tools.
  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis or related roles, with a strong focus on data governance, quality, and security.
  • Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with metadata management, data catalogs, data lineage, data modeling, and data classification.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive results.
