The Senior Paid Search Manager will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive paid search strategies that drive traffic, leads, and optimize ROI through Google and Microsoft channels. You will manage large budgets across several geolocations, create and optimize ROAS bidding models to hit lead targets and other KPIs associated with efficiency, and stay at the forefront of industry trends and best practices to ensure continued campaign success.
This is a highly visible role within the organization that is responsible for providing senior leadership with frequent updates and root causes of performance outcomes. The ideal candidate for this role is someone with a strong understanding of advanced paid search tactics, the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time, and someone with strong analytical and communication skills.
What You'll Do
- Paid search strategy: Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for paid search campaigns that aligns with company goals, including lead generation, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.
- Campaign Management: Manage all aspects of paid search campaigns, including keyword research, ad copywriting, bid management, and landing page optimization.
- Budget Management: Manage and optimize paid search budgets to ensure efficient allocation of resources, constantly seeking opportunities for cost savings and improved ROI.
- Keyword Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth keyword research and analysis to identify opportunities, manage keyword lists, and optimize for relevancy and cost-effectiveness.
- Ad Copy and Creative: Collaborate with the creative team to develop compelling ad copy that maximize click-through rates and conversions.
- Bid Strategy: Develop and implement bidding strategies to meet campaign objectives, including return on ad spend (ROAS), cost per acquisition (CPA), and other KPIs.
- A/B Testing: Plan and execute A/B tests to optimize ad creatives, landing pages, and other campaign elements.
Competitive Analysis: Monitor competitor activities and industry trends to maintain a competitive edge and adjust strategies accordingly. - Performance Reporting: Provide regular reports and performance dashboards to the executive team, highlighting key metrics, trends, and actionable recommendations.
- Adherence to Best Practices: Ensure all paid search campaigns adhere to industry best practices and compliance with relevant regulations.
What You'll Bring
- Fluent in English and German.
- 5+ years of experience in paid search marketing, with a demonstrated track record of managing successful campaigns.
- Proficiency in paid search platforms such as Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, SA360, and others.
- A deep understanding of ROAS bidding models.
- Expertise in data analysis and familiarity with marketing analytics tools.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
- Experience with international campaigns in non-English languages is a plus.
